This workshop provides a forum for a continuing dialogue with stakeholders from industry, government, environmental groups, research, academia, and others on the issue of PPCPs and EDCs in wastewater, including treatment plant effluent used for recharge, and soil adsorption systems in unsewered areas. The focus is on evaluating the occurrence, fate, transport, and treatment effectiveness in surface and subsurface waters, and the best approaches to protecting human health and the environment given the presence of these compounds in wastewater.
